From Historic Savoyard Farmhouse to Comfortable Luxury Living
L'Etoile d'Argent is a completely renovated old historic Savoyard farmhouse — with caves once used for livestock and farming below, living quarters above, and crops at the top floors. Built in local traditional stone, it sits beautifully in the historic hameau of the village, among narrow lanes and vegetable gardens.
Materials are a careful selection of stone, mélèze larch wood and metal, where the old walls and features have been carefully restored and brought to life again.
The building was transformed into three attractive properties. The top apartment features a 270° terrace view, located above the roofs of the village with an extensive south-facing view towards the Courchevel resort and the Vanoise National Park.
From what it was, to what it is today.
Built in traditional Savoyard stone in the historic hameau of Champagny-en-Vanoise, this farmhouse followed the classic three-tier logic: livestock caves below, living quarters above, and crops in the top floors.
Our restoration kept the old stone walls and features intact, weaving mélèze larch and metal through the interiors, and split the building into three residences — including a top apartment with a 270° terrace looking across the Vanoise National Park to Courchevel.
